STN Instruments Achieves Satisfactory Proficiency Test Results for 1/4” PRT Thermometer

STN Instruments is proud to announce that its proficiency test for 1/4” Platinum Resistance Thermometer (PRT) has achieved satisfactory results in a recent proficiency test, demonstrating reliable measurement accuracy and consistency across a wide temperature range.

The test evaluated the thermometer’s performance from -30 °C to 200 °C, with measurement uncertainty as low as 0.015 °C to 0.03 °C (k=2). These results reinforce STN’s commitment to obtain the test capability to produce precision instruments that meet national metrology and quality standards.

“Our goal has always been to provide reliable, traceable temperature measurement solutions,” said Jenny Ren, founder of STN Instruments. “This successful proficiency test result reflects the dedication of our technical team and the strength of our calibration and quality assurance processes.”

STN’s 1/4” PRT Thermometer is widely used in pharmaceutical validation, calibration laboratories, environmental testing, and research facilities where accuracy and stability are critical. The instrument’s robust design, high repeatability, and low drift make it a dependable choice for demanding measurement tasks.

Following the successful completion of its temperature proficiency test, STN Instruments is preparing for its next proficiency evaluation in October, focused on humidity measurement (no-salt method). This upcoming test will further validate the performance of STN’s humidity instruments and calibration capabilities across a broad relative humidity range.
