Payment Policy

The following payment policy applies to all purchases made through our website, www.stninstruments.com, or via approved client account setups. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Payment Terms
•    Full payment is required at the time of order, unless prior credit terms have been established and approved.
•    For orders placed under Net Terms, payment is due within the number of days specified in the contract, calculated from the invoice date.
•    Orders will not be shipped until payment is received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept the following methods:
•    Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, American Express. 
•    Bank Transfers: Details provided at checkout or upon request. 
•    PayPal (processing fees may apply)
•    Purchase Orders: Available for approved business and institutional customers, subject to credit approval.
3. Sales Tax
•    Applicable sales tax is charged based on the shipping address unless a valid resale or tax-exempt certificate is provided per the requirement.
•    It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure tax documents are submitted in advance.
4. International Orders
•    All international transactions must be paid in USD.
•    Customer is responsible for any bank fees, import duties, VAT, or customs charges.
5. Security and Privacy
•    All transactions are processed securely using encrypted payment gateways.
•    STN Instruments does not store your full credit card information. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.
6. Late Payments (For Approved Accounts Only)
•    A 1.5% monthly finance charge may apply to past due invoices.
•    STN Instruments reserves the right to suspend service or delivery for accounts with outstanding balances for overdue payments.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
•    Orders may be canceled only if the item has not yet shipped or entered production.
•    Please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for detailed terms.
