Each unit uses a high-grade NTC thermistor or Pt1000 platinum sensor to ensure precise and consistent temperature measurement. Probe options include a plastic-encapsulated  (5 mm diameter × 25 mm length with a 3-meter cable, fully submersible from -50°C to 70°C), stainless steel probes (5 mm diameter × 75 mm length and 4 mm diameter ×150mm length with a 3-meter cable).

The device features a single channel, 3-line LCD display that simultaneously shows current, maximum, and minimum temperatures for two sensor inputs. By pressing the MAX/MIN button, users can view timestamped high/low readings from the past 24 hours (hourly), 7 days (daily), or 31 days (daily). Power is supplied by three AAA batteries to achieve optimal measurement accuracy. An included DC adapter is intended for use during data export to a flash drive. The meter offers flexible installation options, including handheld use, flat-surface placement, bench-stand support, or magnetic wall mounting, allowing easy integration into a wide range of workspaces.

Each thermometer is factory-calibrated through a multi-point process and comes with a calibration certificate traceable to SI units via NIST, ensuring measurement reliability and compliance in critical temperature-sensitive applications.
